Since we opened in 1992 on the east side of Columbus, Oh., I’ve had a passion for education and childcare. I’ve been gaining valuable experience throughout the years, and I am ready, willing, and able to provide your children with the care they need. Whether they are with us for a few hours or all day, we will always provide a nurturing, stable, and safe experience.

Marsha Perkins

Owner

A retired 30 plus year educator for the local school system of Columbus, Ohio. One of the first African American, woman owned business on the east side of Columbus, Ohio since 1992.

Perkins Story

Her Mission

To help children with learning disabilities and provide them with the same education, and activities that their peers are being provided. In addition, to make their parents aware of the variety educational and supportive resources available to prepare their child to reach their full potential and life goals, even though they had disabilities. To have a safe zone, where children can be themselves and parents trust us to take care of them.

We also want to provide employment opportunities for my community and individuals who enjoy working with children.

I have been at the center for thirteen years. As an experienced childcare provider & advocate supporting children with obtaining their educational and developmental goals. I am able to work with children and families to link them to community resources, education, health and additional supportive services to increase their stability in the community. I am able to be their voice, a helping hand, someone that can listen to them, when they are working through a problem, and be their cheerleader when they accomplish goals. Throughout my years of service, I have shown them throughout the years that I can be trusted, and that I am dedicated to them becoming self-sufficient and successful.
